Ben Pate, PA-C

 

Ben is a graduate of the University of Washington MEDEX

program. He graduated in 2009 as a Certified Physician Assistant and has been practicing internal and family medicine in the

Columbia Gorge for 13 years.

Ben is incredibly dedicated to helping his patients reach optimal health. He takes time with each patient to review their health history in detail and together formulate a plan for reaching the patient's health goals. Ben is continuously learning the best approaches to patient care and treatment.

After years of working in the larger medical system, Ben decided he wanted to be able to practice medicine in a more intimate setting. He opened Compass Family Medicine in an effort to provide direct care at affordable and transparent prices. He enjoys getting to work one on one with his patients in a friendly and efficient manner.

Ben is also an adjunct faculty member of Pacific University's School of Physician Assistant Studies. He enjoys getting to mentor future PA's.

Ben and his family love living in the Columbia Gorge. They enjoy the close-knit community, as well as all of the recreational activities the area has to offer. Ben spends his free time hiking, biking, and skiing with his family.
